The elevation at the headquarters is 3180 feet and the terrain is rolling Arizona high desert with two buttes rising to 3683 and 3914 feet. One dirt tank on the property provides water for cattle or horses; there are several springs and seeps scattered on the property. Wildlife consists of mule deer, javelina, mountain lions and coyotes. It is a quail hunting paradise with a variety of non-game birds as well. Summer highs average in the 90’s, nighttime temps falling into the 70’s. Winter highs in the 60’s & nighttime lows in the 30’s give the area a four season feel without the extremes of the low desert or major snowfalls in the high country.
